Life Lessons, Coaching, and Consulting from a Psychological Viewpoint

About Me

I love life. This despite growing up in poverty, having one alcoholic parent, one mentally ill parent, being a teen mother, and being a high school drop out. Yes I dropped out of High School. I dropped out because of family chaos.  It would be easy for me to be angry at the world and blame others for the cards I was dealt. I say ”we are not created equal“. Some of us have to struggle to reach our goals, in that regard I’m like the little engine that could. For those who struggle, you too shall find balance, humbleness, happiness and love. There may be uturns and detours throughout that process. Their may be hills to climb and tracks that are broken. However, it is my firm belief that everyone can be the best they can be given their circumstance and guided by sage advice, honest friends, sprinkle in some creativity, and given a little push by those who love you. Hence, the blog. Hope something sparkles within you while you visit my site. I would be honored and humbled by your presence.

Cheers,

Dr. Judy Halliday

  1. Hi Judy,

I didn’t find any place for a “contact me”, so feel free to remove this comment if you want. I noticed you listed several blogs you read and resources on your
under the HR Blogs Blogroll section.

We were wondering if you would be so kind as to add a link to our HR blog and
possibly our small business HR software solution.

    Blog Name: Effortless HR Blog
    Blog URL: http://www.effortlesshr.com/blog/

    Site Name: Effortless HR Software
    Site URL: http://www.effortlesshr.com

If you could do both, that would be great, if not, a link to the blog
is much appreciated. You can easily subscribe using the form
on the right sidebar of the blog.

We will be adding our resources/links page to our site within the next
    30 days so
we will automatically link to others who have incoming links to us. Thanks!

Hope your 4th of July was a happy one!

  2. Dr. Judy, I was so disappointed in going to St. Augustine this week only to find you no longer there. However, I understand with gas prices the way they are. After looking on your website, I see that you have opened another store in SC. Maybe that one is closer for you. I ordered a frame from you “Silace” back in April. Thank you so much for getting it to us in a very timely manner. Silace was born the weekend after the suprise baby shower for his father from my sons 6th grade class in Mayo, FL. I wish you and your family well. I will also be ordering through your website if you don’t mind. Also, I would like for you to please tell your son that my family pray for him and his group as well as the other many men and women that are serving our country. It was really a blessing to see the picture of the 2 of you. I look at it often and just so you know it appears that you have something to be proud of. He is a very nice looking young man. Thank God for him and his fellow troops. Take care and thanks again. And I did miss seeing you in St. Augustine.
